Indiana Livestock Homer City, PA Feb. 20, 1992 Report supplied by Auction Seems like every seed company that sells alfalfa is coming out with a multi leaf variety. And each new one is supposed to produce more extra leaves than the one just before it. Well, Jacques has one too, but the reason I decided to seed some of their Multi-plier last spring had very little to do with the extra leaves it produces. I bought it because of its outstanding yield, its winter-hardiness and its 24 out of 25 disease resistance rating by the University of Wisconsin. The multi-leaf trait was just a bonus.
