The open junior champion of the Jersey Show was also the FFA junior champion. J & K Vue Juno Fancy, sired by Valleystream Jis Juno, is owned by Douglas Boop of Millmont. Braden Heimbach of Millmont showed the open reserve junior champion which was also the FFA reserve junior champion. Four Springs Gail Beppani is sired by Pine Valley Yankee Gail. Nathan Sanders of Millmont had the 4-H reserve junior champ ion. The first place junior 2-year old Jersey, KRJ Royal Beauty, sired by J.S. Quicksilver Royal, owned by Jeffrey Sanders was recognized as winner of the youth owner-breeder award for the Jersey Show. In the final youth owner-breeder competition, Jef frey bested the Holstein entry owned by Dawn Rishel. The Brown Swiss breed made history at this year’s fair by having enough animals to comprise a breed show. Crystal View Dele gate Catie, a 10-year-old cow shown by Mark Mapes of New Berlin, was awarded grand champion female of the Swiss Show. Catie is sired by White Cloud Doreen Delegate. Ray Espenshade of Lewisburg showed the reserve senior champ ion female and also the open (Turn to Pag* C 4) Reserve 4-H Holstein to Jason Wolfe.
