York Open Holstein Show (Continued from Pago A3O) honors was the Dale and Darla Doll family of Glen Rock. They took six blues in individual clas ses, firsts in junior best three females and daughter-dam, and second in best three females categories. Doll’s Dar-Dale herd has participated in area Holstein shows for some 25 years. Winner of the crowd-favorite Kiddie Klass was veteran "kiddie” exhibitor Angie Beshore, New Cumberland. The 7-year-old, daughter of Sue and Jed Beshore, repeated her accomplishment of last year in her final chance at the popular kids showmanship-only competition. A cloudburst that swept across the fairgrounds as the show was wrapping up brought smiles and exuberance to both exhibitors and spectators suffering with parched crops and heat-stressed herds - and sent buckets of rainwater fly ing among drenched 4-H competitors.
