tional (HPI) Area Committee
tomorrow evening (May 5) at the
East Fairview Church of the
Brethren.
A covered dish meal starts at
5:30 p.m. and guests may bring
whatever they would like to eat
There will be a special time set
aside for the committee to meet
with Jim Hoey, HPI Latin America
director.
At 7 p.m., the program will be
open to the general public to hear

Hoey speak.
Hoey had worked in Bolivia for
a number of years before returning
to Pennsylvania for only a short
time, until the 1985 termination
program began.
HPI then brough him on staff to
administer HPl’s role in shipping
DTP cattle to projects, and as that
project ended, Hoey took over
responsibilities for all HPI work in
Latin America andthe Caribbean.
Jim will not only bring us and
update on current projects, but will
share some of his future plans for
HPI work in that area of the world.
