The market lone was cautiously steady to weak. Cartoned egg demand was moderate to excellent, especially where featured Widespread retail features were m progress. Loose egg demand was light to moderate. Most dealers attempted to closely match floor stocks with immediate needs in order to limit next week's earned over inventory. Supplies of cartoned eggs were generally adequate. Graded and ungraded loose eggs were at least adequ ate, and more readily offered. Supplies of boneless skinless breasts were fully adequate for immediate needs; however, with several processors looking to curtail schedules, sellers were reluctant to book for next weeks delivenes at current prices. Whole breasts tightened compared to early week and supplies were generally well balanced. Leg items were easiest to book, particularly leg quarters which were slow in clcanng, with light spotty trading as low as 24 to 25 cents. Wings were at least adequate. Gizzards were in heavy supply.
