    READING (Berks Co.) — The
1990 Junior All-Pennsylvania
show awards were presented to
the winning junior members at the
Pennsylvania Junior Holstein
Convention, February 3, 1991 at
the Sheraton Inn, Reading.
There are 14 classes recognized
in the Junior All-Pennsylvania
Contest. It is a picture and placing
contest with three judges evaluat
ing and placing each class.
Deanne Sparling, Towanda,
received two Junior All-
Pennsylvania awards while Justin
Burdette, Mercersburg, and Dian
ne Clock, Mifflin, each had an
All-Pennsylvania and Reserve
All-Pennsylvania winner. Some
34 other juniors received recogni
tion in the Junior All-
Pennsylvania Contest. There were
65 entries for the contest in 1990.

effort in picking out bulls for the
breeding program,” Terry said.
“We’re really excited about the
state wins, especially since both
teams are from Lebanon,” Hill
said. “We hope to do better than we
did last year.
“This year, hopefully we will
know more what to expect, what
kinds of questions they will be ask
ing,” she said.
“We’re going to start practicing
heayily in March. It’s a little hard
to get together to practice because
Dave and Angie are both in
college.”
