Laura, a graduate of Garden Spot High School and a student at St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Lancaster, clinched the grand champion swine honors with her light heavyweight Hampshire cross gilt at the New Holland Far mers Fair at the Sales Stables Tuesday night. Laura has exhibited swine at “about every New Holland show there has been,” she said, laugh ing, “so many. Between me and my brother, Chad, we have a whole room filled with trophies.” Laura has shown swine since she was about 8 years old, and has exhibited at other fairs.
