Watch for auction signs. John & Marilyn Lindley have decided to discontinue their dairy operation. They will be dispersing their entire herd of Holstein cattle along with all milking equipment and computer feeder. The Lindley herd consists of 112 milk cows, the remainder being bred heifers, yearlings, calves, and 2 Service Age Bulls. The cattle are housed in freestalls and milked in a parlor. They are not fed excessive amounts of grain and are on pasture 18 to 20 hrs. a day. The Lindley’s herd is in good flesh and in Ex. health. They are currently averaging over 60 lbs. per day out of the tank. Several sell milking over 100 lbs. If you need milk or cattle bred to milk you should attend. This is a good honest herd. Valiant, Elevation, Astronaut and Arlinda Chief account for most of the blood in this fine young herd The majority of the cattle were raised & bred on the farm and are calfhood vacc.
