Champion Charolals At NAILE
The grand champion Charolals bull at the North Ameri
can International Livestock Exposition In November was
Diamond M Juice 790 W, an ABC Iceman 811 son. Juice, also
the senior champion, is owned by Granada Charolals of
Cloverdaie, Ind.; Silver Creek Farms; and Diamond “M”
Farms In Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Pembina Ultravox 3U, was the grand and senior champion
of the NAILE Charolals show. Her owners are Granada
Charolals of Cloverdale, ind., and Erdmann Ranch of
Wetonka, S.D.

LANCASTER (Lancaster Co.)
- A tobacco management meeting
and show will be held on Wednes
day, January 3, 1990 at the Lan
caster County Farm and Home
Center from 11 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
The meeting is sponsored by Penn
State Extension and will be held in
the basement meeting room. Inter
ested tobacco growers are invited
to attend the educational meeting
and participate in the show.
A variety of interesting topics
related to tobacco management
will be discussed to assist tobacco
growers produce a quality crop.
Starting at 11:15 a.m., John Yo
cum from the Penn State Research
Farm will be discussing weed con
trol in tobacco. At 1 p.m. Dr.
Arvydas Grybauskas from the
University of Maryland will be
discussing tobacco diseases and
