The 4-H beef and lamb sale at Bloomsburg Fair netted $19,000, enriching the college funds and bank accounts of many area young people. While the average price of beef was down, lamb prices were up by 8 cents per pound compared to last year. Todd Laudenslager topped the lamb sale with his 102-pound grand champion, which brought $3.25 per pound. John Fritz of Sunset Ice Cream in Williamsport was high bidder. Laudenslager, 18, of Northum berland County, has been in Lick- Kill 4-H for seven yehrs. He is the son of Lynn and Dixie Laudenslager.
