Thursday evening, Sept.
28, with 37 head of
dairy cattle averaging
$1,394. Eleven regis
tered bred heifers aver
aged $1,170 which
included 6 heifers due in
Dec., Jan. and Feb. and
five due in Oct and
Nov. The average on 26
dairy cows was $1,489.
The top cow of the
sale was a 4-year-old,
Reckers Ace at $18,050.
Ace was fresh in July at
80 lbs. Monitor Frost,
fresh in Sept, with 67
Ib./day, 3-year-old,
brought $18,050. A
2-year-old, Steady, due
in October sold for
$18,050. A Jet Stream
daughter, fresh in June
at 95 lbs./day, sold for
$18,025. A Conductor
granddaughter due in
Feb., at 60 lbs./day sold
for $16,075. A 4-year
old Bell daughter at 93
lbs./day brought
$17,050. Her heifer calf
