Dr. Vough cur rently is president of the Grazing Lands Forum, a consortium of independent national organiza tions interested in the impacts of grazing management and activi ties that affect grazing lands. Growers from 40 states attended last year’s National Alfalfa Symposium at St. Joseph, Mo. Next year’s meeting will be held at Lincoln, Neb. Theme for this year’s sympo sium is “Managing Alfalfa for Profit.” Speakers will address top ics ranging from production prac tices to harvesting, feeding and marketing alfalfk.
