Westmoreland County Travel-All The Westmoreland County 4-H Travel-all club will be sponsoring their annual Salad Bar with enter tainment on Sunday, 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Inn, Rt. 30 East of Grecnsburg. Price is $5.50 per adult; $3 per child age 6-12; and free for chil dren under 5. Entertainment for the event will be provided by: 4-H members, songs; El-Dawn, New Alexandria, and Gib’s Formals, Gee Bee Pla za, Greensburg, formal wear; Maggie Kerin Floral, Derry, floral decorations; 4-H members, musi cal skits; Young at Heart, Mt. The 4-H’ers hosted a group of 4-H’ers from Brazos County, Texas this past summer. The orip will be the first part of a two-year cultural exchange. Last summer 40 4-H’ers from Westmoreland County spent a fun-filled week showing the Texas 4-H’ers our county. This year the local county youth will be traveling to Minne sota. There they will be learning about their new friends ahd their area. The group will be taking an extended bus trip through the western stales. The areas they will be visiting arc: Chicago, 111.; St. Paul, Minn.; Des Moines, Iowa; > Mitchell and Rapid City, S.D. The sights they will be enjoying are: Chicago, Wisconsin Dells, Com Palace, Mt. Rushmore, Bad Lands National Park, restored western town of Wall, plus many other tours.
