The ram, Double-0 Acres 87-81, was named supreme champion of the Connecticut Agricultural Fair, champion Oxford of the New York State Fair, and champion of sever al county shows, the family has been exhibiting sheep at KILE for five years. Last year, they showed the first-place junior ewe lamb and the first-place yearling ram and reserve champion. Champion Oxford Ewe honors went to Illini 8808, exhibited by Dennis Jones of Cathacde Farm, Richmond, Me. Shepherd’s Crook, sheep pro ducers from Mechanicsburg, walked off with the champion ram title for their yearling Columbia ram. An Ohio man, David A. Cook, showed both champion females with the champion being his first-place spring ewe lamb. The reserve champion ram spot went to the spring ram lamb exhi bited by Richard and Mary Ann Johnson of Lakewood, N.J.
