NEW HOLLAND (Lancaster)
A veteran sheep and steer exhi
bitor took home the purple rosette
from the New Holland market
lamb show, while the winning
steer was led by a relative
beginner.

den Spot High School, exhibited a
stylish 125-pound Suffolk named
Jack that was judged to be the
grand champion of its show. The
17-year-old daughter of Larry and
Barb Weaver, Chupp later sold her
prize-winning lamb to Willie the
Butcher (William Kreider) for
$3.50 per pound.
Flipside, already a champion
steer, won the day once again for
Casey High, 10, the son of Larry
and Mae High of Lititz. The

slapped as grand champion by
judge Brian Fitzgerald at the New
