ir Farming, Saturday, May 7, 1988 Lebanon Valley National Bank purchased a Registered Dairy Heifer at the “Spring Promise Accent on Youth Sale” held at the Lebanon Area Fairgrounds on April 14, 1988. Thirty-four animals were donated by area farmers In order to raise money for the construction of a new show barn at the fairgrounds. LVNB will sponsor an essay contest offering the Regis tered Heifer to the winner. The contest is limited to youth In Lancaster, Lebanon, Dauphin, Schuylkill and Berks coun ties. The title of the essay will be, “Why I Would Like The Lebanon Valley National Bank’s Heifer For My 4-H or FFA Project.” The essay must Include Name, Address, and Tele phone Number of the writer. The essay must state where the heifer will be housed, and what fairs and exhibitions It will be shown at, and a brief resume stating what FFA or 4-H Chapter the writer belongs to. The writer should also list their livestock experience and their community involvement.
