A36-Lancaster Farming, Saturday, March 12, 1988 UNIVERSITY PARK The Penn State Dairy Science Club will be holding its annual Spring Judg ing Contest on Saturday, March 26, 1988, at the Ag Arena. In the past, nearly 300 people have parti cipated in this event. The majority nave been Pennsylvania 4-H and FFA members. This contest pro vides these members with valuable judging experience. It also gives Penn State Dairy Science Club members an opportunity to meet future Penn Staters. The contest consists of five divi sions: Sr. 4-H, Jr. 4-H, FFA, Colle giate Ameteur, and Collegiate Pro fessional. Each county 4-H team and each FFA chapter will be allowed a maximum of 8 contes tants. The junior 4-H division will be open only to 4-H members under 14 years of age as of January 1, 1988. Any 4-H member may judge in the senior division though. There will be an entry fee of $3.00 per person, which covers the cost of the meal of the day of the contest and the cost of mailing the results.
