The new board of officers and directors were announced with the new president being William Allen, Jr., Vice President- Marlin Martin, Secretary-Treasurer- John Morris. Out going president Joseph Schwartz beck received a plaque from Robert M. McKown featuring the January 25th edition of the cover page of the Holstein World. That particular issue not appointed to the National Holstein Junior Advisory Board. Donna and her hus band Jason have a dairy farm In New Windsor, Maryland, Windsor Manor. They have two children Kelli and Kristin. only had the cover story, but 54 pages of ads and convention sale coverage. The afternoon speaker was Edward Reed from Thonyma Farm in Kansas. He spoke on the deve lopment of a seed stock herd and it’s role in the purebred livestock industry. (Story found elsewhere in the paper). The evenings banquet centered on the 751 h anniversary since the inception of the State Association in 1912. Vintage slides reflected on their past history.
