Many independent markets are no longer around, and the government is changing gears on us. The government says let the milk price float at the world market price at around $B.OO per hundred weight. California dairymen say they are willing to produce milk at $9.00 per hundredweight. What they arc really saying is they can rum the PA dairy farmer, and then take over the market. What is the answer to all of this? - RCMA, over-order pricing. It does not raise the consumer price and maintains the farmers’ price. It is not a government program so it does not create high paying jobs.
