My Most Memorable Christmas My most memorable Christmas was in “85” when my grand mother was in a tragic accident a week before Christmas eve. The doctors said she broke her spinal cord and was paralized. On the way to another hospital in a helicopter, she said that she felt a tingling in her legs as if she was dying. Actually she was being healed. That Saturday my parents took my sister and me up to the hospital to visit grandmother. Her hands were bruised badly and her back was in a brace to aid her spinal cord in healing. ul.' But something unexpected hap pened. The doctors said she was well enough to come home. So she came home a day before Christ mas. Our families got together at our grandparents’ house on Christ mas and each of us got the gift we wanted most, our grandmother coming home for the holidays. z-''' •" Ci, fe 3 %■ o-^-$ h^LAJ -M By: Amy Allison Age 12 ■M' ; , p/P X ,//y ' L/ a r Rd / r a * 'v f Tb I-: Af&rion /partis, I 7 For-ie T, Q o * i l_c bunCfl P u tK'iJl a 3? h V * a' l. w I -jW I jjzJ ' 4 # m U l!
