HARRISBURG A Centre County exhibitor who is an old hand at collecting blue ribbons and an 11-year-old girl from Northum berland County shared the spot light in the opening hitch-horse competition at the 31st annual Keystone International Livestock Exposition. John Cole of Centre Hall, who won most of the awards in the 1985 and 1986 competition, got off to an early start by capturing the six horse hitch event again this year. The prize apparently puts Cole first in line for the honor of driving Pennsylvania’s Governor Robert P. Casey and Agriculture Secret ary Boyd E. Wolff and their wives into the main arena to open the 1988 Farm Show on January 10. Cole drove the carriage that carried the dignitaries at the last Farm Show.
