Crunchy Croutons 4-5 slices stale or firm bread % cup vegetable oil 'A teaspoon onion powder A teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon minced parsley 1 teaspoon paprika 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, optional 1. Cut bread into 'A ” cubes, you should have about 4 cups. Spread cubes out in a flat microwave pan. Drizzle oil over top, stirring to coat cubes. Sprinkle remaining ingre dients on top, stirring again. 2. Leave uncovered, and micro wave until bread is toasted and crispy, stirring every 2 minutes; High power for 6-8 minutes. If your oven heats unevenly, watch the bread carefully after 6 minutes so it doesn’t scorch in spots. 3. Cool, then store in an airtight container. Makes 3 cups.
