HARRISBURG - A nearly yearlong promotion of better understanding between farm and city residents earned the Berks County Farm-City Council first place in competition for 1986 Farm-City awards. Farm-City awards were presented during Secretary of Agriculture’s Night at the 1987 Pennsylvania Farm Show. Second and third place went to the Franklin County Farm-City Council and the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce/Lebanon Farm-City Council, respectively.
