Comment: Trading activity was
light to selective. Cutlets were
clearing at current levels, but
some sellers showed concern even
at these levels. Line one breasts
were more available at 90 cents but
only occasional sale was noted
below this. Rib breasts were
showing up overall with supplies
increasing and at least adequate.
Legs were fully adequate and slow
to clear in a few quarters. The
demand for leg quarters ranged
from light to good, but the supply
has been more sufficient to fill
needs. Advanced interest was
noted on leg quarters for the next
two weeks. Wings were fully
adequate to ample and hard to
move.

Market Comment: Demand was
good for the light processors of
ferings. Some price resistance
developed for fresh and frozen
canner packs which caused lighter
processing activity in some in
stances.

Market Comment: Movement of
ready to cook whole birds was
irregular but only fair at best.
Offerings ranged adequate to fully
adequate. Interest in parts had
slowed and supplies were at least
adequate on all items. Wings were
in heaviest supply. Legs and leg
quarters were more available than
early week and some bookings
were made at lower prices on leg
quarters through the next couple
weeks. White meat orders were
generally easier to fill today. Less
than trucklot asking prices were
unchanged at 50-58 cents. Live
supplies were mostly moderate.
Weights were irregularly light to
slightly heavier -than desired.
Slaughter schedules were
moderately heavy. The undertone
was barely steady.

dealers were anticipating feature
activity for next week. Floor
stocks of both loose and graded
product were adequate to fully
adequate. Additional offerings
were held with confidence.
