COBA spon sors the seminars to offer mem bers and patrons the most up-to date information on dairy management practices to aid the dairyman in developing a more profitable dairy operation. Bulls SHAWANO, Wise. - 21H687 Spruce-Edge Majesty was raised to Excellent-92 to lead the good news at, 21st Century Genetics when the Holstein bulls were recently classified. The two additional points in Spruce’s classification cement his position as an outstanding type bull in the breed. His current Predicted Difference for Type (PDT) is +2.00, one of five bulls at that elite level. Spruce, a graduate of the cooperative’s sampling program, was acquired from R. Edwin Hamish, Christiana, Pa. Spruce daughters are well balanced dairy cows with excellent udders. In addition, owners of Spruce daughters report the cows are easy to work with and milk out well. 21H900 Maizefield Supercross, acquired from Mel and Rod Stofer, Leslie, Mich., was also raised to Excellent-92 from Excellent-90. Supercross has been combining solid, functional type with strong Calving Ease credentials.
