Prior to caroling, they met at the home of Barbara Byler for a business meeting and a cookie exchange. Co-hostess for the evening was Bonnie Rohrer. Plans were made for attending the state Farm Women Convention in January. The next regular meeting of the Society will be held Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. at the home of Pat Landis. Lancaster Society 25 Thirty members of Lancaster Society 25 along with their husbands and friends attended a Christmas party Dec. 13 at Wenger’s, 1516 Lititz Pike. Members and guests enjoyed a covered dish dinner. Mary Roland read the Christmas story. Mrs. Robert Hostetler of Millersville showed the film, “A Magnificent Dream.” It was a pictorial presentation of the Landis Valley Museum and the Heritage of Lancaster County as produced by John and Dorothy Glass. As a Christmas project, mem bers sent a donation to the Daryl Bloom Trust Fund. Laban Byers led the group in singing Christmas carols. The January 10 meeting will be devoted to sewing cancer pads at the home of Lois Hess, 309 Sprecher Road, Lancaster. Lebanon Society 20 Members of Lebanon Society 20 met recently at the home of Beatrice Midi with 19 members present. Three members will attend the state convention in January at the Farm Show. The Spring Rally will be held May 20 at Elizabethtown College. Members decided to donate to the Jayson Silverman Fund. Everyone also brought two articles of food to be given to a needy family at Christmas time. Secret pals were revealed and gifts exchanged. The hostess served delicious refreshments.
