Brett Nesbit, a member of the Northern Dairy Club, received the dairy judging award for the county. Bret Brumbaugh, a representitive of the trophy sponsor Milk Marketing Inc., presented the award. Norma Andrie won the out standing senior dairy award with the junior title going to Heath Winsheimer. Charles Lockhart, president of the Indiana County Dairy Herd Improvement Association, presented the award. As part of the evening’s en tertainment, Holly Edwards gave her speech, “Farming a thing of the past.” Heath Winsheimer gave her presentation, “Dehorn now prevent problems later.” Both dairy club members’ presentations garnered honors this summer at the Penn State 4-H Achievement Days. Carol and Gene Schurman, Indiana County 4-H and agricultural agents respectively, gave a slide presentation reviewing the past year’s ac tivities.
