it has been growing in the east in
major proportions. Last year’s
show was attended by over 1000
persons from 15 states and
Canada. The hobby has it’s own
monthly magazines, the largest
having a circulation of over 10,000.
Approximately 2000 collectors live
in the eastern coastline states.
Some of the scarce farm toys of
the 40’s and 50’s have a value to a
toy collector of several hundred
dollars. Usually tractors are worth
more than equipment items. A toy
Farmall model 400 or 450 in nice
condition has a value to a collector
of over $lOO. A John Deere model
620 or 630 has about the same value
as do dozens of others.
Among the displays will be
valuable collections featuring John
Deere, International Harvester,
Sheppard Diesel, Allis-Chalmers,
Ford, New Holland, pedal tractors
(including the rare square block
John Deere “A” valued at over
$1000), trucks, small farm scene

others. Two unique displays from
Lebanon County will be seventy
