Rhoads Restaurant is located in Quarryville on the corner at Lime and State Streets, 201 East State Street. Parking is available off of State Street behind the Restaurant. Lebanon Holstein Banquet Slated SCHAEFFERSTOWN - The Lebanon County Holstein Club will hold their annual meeting on Oct. 30 at the Schaefferstown Fireball. George Wolff will discuss his work on the Chesapeake Bay Program. Wolff is a member of the Lebanon County Conservation Board. He has done conservation work on state and national levels. Maryland Holstein Assoc . Field Day Set FREDERICK, Md. - The Maryland Holstein Association will host a field day on Saturday, Oct. 25 which will focus on the topic ET and Your Genetic Future. Those attending the field day at Hills-Hope Farm in Emmitsburg will witness the flushing of two cows and the implanting of fresh and frozen embryos. Through the use of a TV monitor, the audience will also see the embryo splitting. A tour of the Hills-Hope herd and inspection of their milking ET daughters will follow the embryo work. During the afternoon session, Dr. Allen McCauley of Elizabethtown, Pa. will discuss the future farm application of ET and a new one-step freeze and thaw technique for embryos.
