Cream should be among
the last purchases at the
grocery store and should be
refrigerated at home as
soon as possible. Kept in its
closed carton at 40°F or
lower, it will stay fresh for
about one week. Ultra
pasteurized cream keeps
well up to eight weeks
before opening; then its life
equals that of pasteurized
cream.

covered at 35° to 40°F, it
should stay at peak flavor
and texture for 7 to 10 days.
