Cedar Crest honors members
LEBANON The Cedar Crest
FFA Chapter honored outstanding
members during its annual parent
member banquet at Cedar Crest
Middle School March 4.
State FFA secretary Ann
Lansberry was the keynote
speaker. Joseph Hartman, high
school principal, also gave some
inspirational words to guests and
members.
Lisa Houser and Brian Boyer
presented a slide show before
awards were presented.

Johnson as Star Chapter

University Cooperative Extension
Service is offering an Agricultural
Accidents and Rescue Course at
the University Park Campus. The
four-day course will be held over
the two weekends of April 5 to 6 and
19 to 20.
Participants will receive in
struction in twelve topic areas and
upon passing examinations will
become certified agriculture
rescue technicians by the Penn
sylvania Department of Health.
All participants should have
previous rescue and emergency
care training and experience and
will need a complete set of per
sonal protective gear.
Registration is limited to 50
people. The registration fee of $75
