Floyd plans to major in agriculture in college and plans to go into Work Experience Abroad. He would like to get a job on a swine finishing farm. Crystal Kreider Crystal Kreider, 17, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer E. Kreider, Washington Boro. A member of the Manor FFA Chapter for four years, Crystal has completed projects in beef finishing, sheep breeding and finishing and hog finishing. She has been a member of the Entertainment and Banquet Committees. Crystal has served her chapter as historian and secretary and holds the Greenhand, Chapter Farmer and Red Rose degrees. She won a gold medal in state meat judging and a'silver medal in the national meat judging contest. Crystal plans to attend college and find a job. Her plans also in clude marriage and a family. Daniel Martin Daniel Martin is the 18-year-old son of James D. and Lucille J. Martin, Lititz. A member of the Warwick FFA Chapter for four years, Daniel has had projects in laying hens, rabbits, capons, market hogs, breeding swine and Brown Swiss heifers. Daniel has been a member of the county Volleyball and Basketball Committees. He also helped with chapter cider sales. . Daniel was selected Star Greenhand, Star Chapter Farmer and Red Rose Star Agribusinessman. He has served his chapter as chaplain, president and reporter. In 1982, Darnel placed second in the State Meats Judging Contest. He plans to attend college to major in dairy farm management and to become a farmer. Leonard Martin Jr. Leonard Martin, Jr., 17, is the son of Leonard and Joyce L. Martin, New Holland. A member of the Pequea Valley FFA Chapter for four years, Leonard is a dairy farmworker. He plans to study mechanics in school. George Metzler George Metzler, 17, is the son of Robert and Miiinie Metzler, Christiana. A member of the Octorara FFA Chapter for four years, George has been county vice president and student advisor. He also has been chapter president and vice president. George is a member of the Calendar Committee. He plans to study dairy production at Penn State. Kelly A. Miller Kelly A. Miller is the 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth G. Miller, Sr., Christiana. A member of the Solanco FFA Chapter for four years, Kelly has pursued projects in dairy herd, rabbits, swine breeding, hay, corn hay and silage, and small grain. Kelly has been a member of the Community Service, BOAC, Banquet, and State and National Activities Committees. Her other activities include membership on the Parliamentary Procedure Team, public speaking and district and state dairy shows. She is currently president of her chapter and county secretary. In the past she has been chapter sentinel and secretary. She holds the Red Rose degree and received a Production Credit Recor dkeeping Award and proficiency awards in dairy production and crop production. Kelly is a member of the Holstein-Friesian Association and is on the distinguished honor roll. In the future, Kelly plans to be a secretary for an ag business. Michael Mills Michael Mills, 19, is the son of Roger and Catherine Mills, Lan caster. A student at Lampeter Strasburg High School, Michael has been a member of Garden Spot FFA for four years. Michael raised dairy calves and cows for his projects and worked on a poultry farm for his work experience program. He has been a member of several committees including Program of Work, Fruit Sales, Trap Shoot, Banquet, Initiation, National FFA Week and Food Stand. He was a county FFA delegate and was selected Star Greenhand. He also holds the Red Rose and Chapter Farmer degrees. He has served his chapter as advisor and sentinel. After graduation from high school, Michael plans to get a job in an agri-business and work on the home farm. Troy L Musser Troy L. Musser is the 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Robert Musser, Lancaster. A member of the Manor FFA Chapter for four years, Troy has raised a dairy heifer and tobacco for his projects. He also works on his father’s farm. Troy has been a member of the Banquet, Chain Calf and Wood Committees. He has served his chapter as executive vice president, and received the Greenhand and Chapter Farmer degrees. Troy attended the National FFA Convention. Troy plans to continue working on his father’s farm. Kerry Myer Kerry Myer, 17, is the son of Gerald and Joanne Myer, Manheim. A student at Manheim Central High School, Kerry has been a member of the Manheim FFA Chapter for four years. Kerry has completed three years of beef finishing projects and holds the Greenhand, Chapter Farmer and Red Rose Degrees. He enjoys skiing and hunting. Following graduation, he plans to work on his father’s farm. Rodney L. Nissley Rodney L. Nissley, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mervin G. Nissley, Millersville, has been a member of the Manor FFA Chapter for four years. Rodney has completed projects in swine breeding and finishing and has served on several com mittees, including, Banquet, BOAC, Recreation and Fund Raising. He has served his chapter as club treasurer, parliamentarian and vice president, Rodney has participated in poultry and land judging at local, county, state and national levels.
