Thomas plans to attend college to major in agricultural business management. Henry Seidel Henry Seidel is the seventeen year-old son of Robert and Nancy Seidel, Lenhartsville. Greg Strieker Greg Strieker, the 17-year-old son of Gene and Shirley Strieker, Bemville, has been a member of the Hamburg Area FFA for four years. Greg has completed projects in market and breeding swine, market steer and beef heifer, cornfield and hayfield. He was co chairman of the Chapter Ratings Committee. In addition, Greg was chapter treasurer and is currently junior vice president. He is also Berks County news reporter. Zechman, Womelsdorf. A member of the Conrad Weiser FFA Chapter for four years, Brian, has served as chaplain parliamentarian, sentinel, and county chaplain. He was Berks speaker at the Leader Conference and holds the Greenhand, Chapter Farmer and County Farmer degrees. He was also a named a Star Farmer. Brian’s FFA activities have included parliamentary procedure, Chain Gild Committee, Food for America and Member Banquet Planning. He was chairman of the S.O.E. and Pumpkin Contest and Cooperation and Vegetable and Plant Sale Committees. Brian plans to continue working at Lutz Brothers Swine Farm. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley England of Williamsburg, she has also served as chapter sentinel and chaplain. Kathy has been a member of the Parliamentary Procedure and Dairy Judging teams for two years during Penn State’s FFA Week, and has attended local leadership training conferences for three years. She attended PAFC at Juniata College and was a member of the Valley Rural Electric Youth held in Washington D.C. England of Williamsburg, is a senior enrolled in the vocational agriculture program at Williamsburg High School. She has been active in the Williamsburg FFA chapter for four years and is this year’s chapter vice president. Experience gained through working on the family farm has helped Maureen with her projects, including a dairy calf, field com and alfalfa production. She showed a dairy heifer at the Williamsburg Farm Show in September, and has earned local, area and county awards. In 1982 Maureen received a local scholarship medal for maintaining an “A” average in vocational agriculture. She has participated in leadership training for four years, and attended FFA Ac tivities Week at Penn State for the past three years where she judged dairy cattle. After graduation, she plans to study artificial insemination, a skill that she hopes will lead to employment as a breeder. Carol Frederick The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Frederick of Roaring Spring, Carol is a senior at Central High School and is the secretary of Central Cove FFA. Carol’s fanning program is involved with market hog, poultry and beef finishing enterprises.
