BY JOYCE BUPP
Staff Correspondent
YORK - York County’s 4-H

their 1985 buyers during the clubs’
annual achievement night, held
last Saturday at the 4-H Center.
Special recognition went to
Robert Weikert for his outstanding
support of the 4-H livestock
programs and sales. Weikert
hosted the summer roundups at
Weikert’s Buying Station, located
in the former Thomasville
Livestock Auction. In addition, he
purchased a total of 17 lambs and
20 swine from the roundups for
Weikert’s Meat Marketing firm,
including some champions and
class winners.
Other buyers of champions and
reserves were Stewartstown
Milling, SunCro Associates and
T.L. Polled Herefords, Reisinger
