Power steering comes standard on the deluxe version of our new Kubota L 2550. And so do a lot of other features you wouldn’t expect to find on a 23.5 PTO horsepower tractor. Other big tractor features include a direct injection diesel engine, for more reliable starts even in cold weather. You’ll enjoy better fuel economy, too. With eight forward and seven reverse speeds plus an advanced mechanical shuttle transmission, the L 2550 is even easier to operate. Going back and forth for front loader jobs will go a lot faster. Stops are quicker and surer with wet disc brakes. So take a closer look at the L 2550. Well, sometimes I get a bit tired of it too as it demands so much time and I have many other things to do. If only I could forget about the buckets of green and yellow beans and sugar peas too. You see, I always allow the peas to bloom a second time and this is the crop that I keep to freeze for my family. I wish he were the one who knew a road was named for him. Another job that came rather unexpectedly this year was the big crop of apricots. We don’t find time to spray the trees and so the fruit is Nothing like it on earth? TWO CONVENIENT LOCATIONS: ■ PARTS * SALES ★ SERVICE Ida’s Notebook Ida Kisser LOW A.P.R. I’m expecting company, so I’d better get busy and clean up a bit around the place. Then I will have to bake a blueberry crumb cake. The blueberry crop is also enor mous this year and I’ve been selling some. On top of the above mentioned jobs, I have a new one. I’ve never packed to stay in a state park before, but my husband has reserved a cabin for one week in Black Moshannon State Forest in Centre County, so I’d better leam in a hurry.
