Early week declines were mostly offset by midweek as a good demand developed, especially from buyers for cattle suitable for commodity futures delivery. Dressed beef prices generally on the downside compared to last week but packer buyers had to compete with commodity delivery buyers. Slaughter cows and bulls steady.
