Al2-Lancaster Famine, Saturday, March 16,1985 Pennfield Corp. has honored 23 of its outstanding dairy customers by naming them to the company's President's club at its annual Dairy Awards Program Wednesday. Cindy Sheaffer, and Esther Bare; standing, Pennfield names 23 to President’s Club LANCASTER Twenty-three dairy fanners from throughout the company’s service area have been named to Pennfield Corp.’s President’s Club. The dairymen received their awards at the firm’s annual Dairy Awards Banquet Wednesday at the Good ‘n Plenty restaurant. To achieve membership in the club, dairymen had to reach either the milk production or butter fat standard the company established for their particular breed. The standards were 20,000 pounds of milk or 700 pounds of butterfat for Holsteins, 17,500 pounds of milk or 650 pounds of fat for Brown Swiss or Ayrshire, 13,500 pounds of milk or 650 pounds of fat for Guernseys, and 13,000 pounds of milk or 625 pounds of fat for Jerseys. The dairymen honored included: • John and Barbara Brubaker, Knott Run Farm, Christiana, whose 60 head of cows averaged 21,073 pounds of milk and 794 pounds of butterfat. • Robert E.
