Cartoned egg demand noted as only fair overall and marked by a need to discount in several quarters in an effort to stimulate better clearances on graded stocks. Supplies of large and extra large were adequate to heavy. Mediums were tight in some spotc but adequate overall. Ungraded offerings were generally adequate but were held within increased confidence. The undertone was both fully steady to firm and cautious.
