Meeting in Portland, Me., Nov. 12-18, delegates from 36 states, representing 400,000 Grange members, will debate over 500 resolutions. Action taken by the delegates will determine Grange legislative policies and programs for the coming year. The Grange will be the first major farm organization to meet following the Presidential election. Thousands are expected to attend as one-fourth of the Grange’s total membership is located throughout the New England states. The Grange is also a fraternal order and confers the highest degree of the order at their annual con ventions.
