Stauffer Diesel breaks ground Ground breaking ceremonies for Stauffer Diesel Inc.'s new building project were held on Friday, Oct. 12, at the Stauffer Industrial Development on Pleasant Valley Road in Ephrata Township. On hand to wield the shovel were (from left), Robert Staller, Ephrata Township Supervisor; Vincent J. Paparo, senior loan officer at the Blue Ball National Bank; Senator Noah Wenger; Stauffer Diesel president, E. Tony Stauffer; Deutz Corp. regional sales manager, Klaus Sanders; and Deutz regional service manager, Reiner Huppert. Currently based in New Holland, the family-owned cor poration sells and services Deutz industrial diesel engines throughout the state.
