Bucks Co. 4-H'ers win at Southeast Horse Show, DOYLESTOWN - Twelve Bucks County 4-H members will be representing Southeastern Penn sylvania at the State 4-H Horse Show, on Oct. 5-7 at the State Farm Show Buildings in Harrisburg, Pa. They won the honor of par ticipating in the state show by achieving top placings at the Southeast Region 4-H Show on Aug. 28 held in Reading, Pa. Gay Hibbs, 17, Washington Crossing, riding “Ima Social Scandal” won three first-place awards to qualify for three classes at the state show; Grooming and showmanship, senior division, stock seat equitation, senior division; and western pleasure horses. Susan Donnell, 14, Kintnersville, riding “My Sweet Success” placed first in hunter ponies under saddle, second in working hunter horses, and third in hunt seat equitation over Jumps. Kristi Donnell, 15, Kintnersville, on her horse “Sir Saber Boss” won first place in western riding and third place in the open trail class. Stephanie Leventon, riding “Bittersweet Lord and Master”, won a blue ribbon in hunter hack and a red ribbon in hunt seat equitation, senior. Erik Takacs, 9, Bethlehem, won first place in pleasure pony driving with her pony “Noel”. Elizabeth Adams, 11, Yardley, won the blue ribbon in hunt seat equitation, junior with her horse “Lady Be Good.” Tricia Bennett, 14, Langhorne qualified in second place in the open trail class riding “War- Uncaster Farming, Saturday, September 22,1984—823 continue drum.” Heather Gregson, 13, Doylestown, and Jennifer Huber, 12, Doylestown, teamed up to win second place in the pleasure pairs class astride “Hobbits Gold Button” and “Hobbits Peach Pride”. Sherry Morrison, 14, Pineville, placed third in the junior grooming and showmanship with “All For Skip”.
