Lebanon Area
Fairgrounds off Route
72 south of Lebanon, Pa.
There were 33 heifers
sold for $41,910 or an
average of $1270. Some
of the animals were sold
several times and the
auctioned price
donated. One animal
brought $3OOO as the four
purchasers paid $BOO,
$825, $625 and $750.
The top price for a
Holstein heifer was
$4500.
