County Council, the 4-H Fair
featured baking contests, a flower
show, exhibit contests, arts and
crafts contests, project book and
clothing iudcinp a talent show,
rabbit and cavy show, and a
fishing rodeo. There was also a
volleyball tournament, scavenger
hunt, nutrition contest, and
watermelon eating contest.

Equidae 4-H Club
The Equidae 4-H Club won big at Andrea Kershner. Of the club’s
the Chester County 4-H Horse Show seven participants, five qualified
on August 18th. The group brought for the Regional Horse Show on
home five first-place awards, four August 25.

categories. Throughout the fair,
food, soda, ice cream and
milkshakes were available to the
juniors.

Throughout the three days of
events, the Berks County Ag
Center and newly completed 4-H
Community Center were bustling
with activity. Inner city 4-Hers and
their country friends teamed up to
make this the most successful fair
to date.
