Members of Lancaster Society 3
recently enjoyed an afternoon at
the Mount Hope Estate and Winery
and a tour of the historic mansion
and grounds. The group also saw
the arts and crafts displayed by
various craftsmen during their
May meeting hosted by Sara
Stober.
During a short business meeting
before the tour, members were
urged to enter the 1984 state
convention project of “Make

business meeting.
The group discussed the 1984

Item,” whether you use needles,
hooks, looms, shuttles, brushes,
hammer and nails or whatever.

Ephrata pool. Date and details will
be announced at the July meeting.
The July meeting will be on
Sunday, July 22 at the Sunny Craft
Farm at 12:30 p.m. for the family
picnic. Members should bring their
own place setting, salad and
dessert.

Atlantic City on September 12. The
next meeting will be the annual
picnic at the Tinny Pavillion in
Strasburg on July 12. Each
member was instructed to bring a
generous portion of a hot or cold

gave the group a mini-view of
some of his antique collection. He
showed several items dating back
many years.
The next meeting will be a
