Stress training offered A two-session training program will be offered on April 26 and May 14 for adults interested in helping youth deal with their stress. The “Stress Connection" is a series of activities designed to help teens understand their stress, control it, and develop personal, positive coping mechanisms. The training will be provided by Linda Siegel, 4-H Agent. Linda holds a bachelor’s degree in sychology. Accordiong to Siegel, the Stress Connection is a new part of the preventive health education program offered by 4-H. Those who complete the training will have the opportunity to work with a small group of teens in 4-H. Participants do not need to be currently involved m 4-H. The training sessions will be held on Thursday, April 26 and Monday, May 14 from 7:30 - 9:15 P.M. each evening. The meeting will be held m the extension office, Room 11 in the municipal building.
