Royal Champluvier, Dairy Festival Committee chairman, announced today that any Brad ford County resident who meets the following qualifications may enter the annual Dairy Princess contest; Contestant must; Lave in Pennsylvania. Be a daughter of a dairy farmer, a dairy farm manager, herdsman, or dairy farm owner during the current year, or 'he contestant must be the owner of at least one dairy animal prior to May 1, 1984 (dairy means the six major breeds of dairy cows). Have completed her junior year of high school and will not reach her 22nd birthday by December 31 of the year of the contest. She must be single and never married. She cannot marry during her reign. Have her parent’s or guardian’s consent. ' Not be a former local winner Attend the training seminar on July 18-20 to participate in the State Pageant. The winner of the contest will become the Bradford County Dairy Princess for 1984-85 at the annual Dairy Festival in Wyalusing on May 26. She will succeed the current Dairy Princess for Bradford County - Anita Wnsley. The new princess will attend the Dairy Princess Training Seminar in July.
