PM—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, February 18,1984 ADA/DC appoints Michele Martens SYRACUSE Michele Martens has been appointed to the position of County Promotion Director for the American Dairy Association and Dairy Council, Inc., according to Ralph L. Lindsey, Executive Vice President. The Syracuse based office conducts advertising and promotion for milk and milk products on behalf of dairy producers in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Ms. Martens will be working with ADA/DC’s county promotion groups, helping to develop and coordinate local milk promotion events. She will also coordinate special events throughout the ADA/DC area. Michele has a strong background in promotion. She formerly worked as Special Events and Promotion Coordinator for the Easter Seals Society. Prior to that position, she worked as Promotion Assistant at WSTM-TV in Syracuse. She has an Associate Degree from Cayuga County Community College and a Bachelor Degree in English and Journalism from SUNY at Cortland. She is a resident of Marietta, New York. Terry Scheetz of Lancaster County, has been named to two special statewide committees that will study ag issues. The 99th District lawmaker has recently asked to serve on separate panels to study the avian flu epidemic and preservation of the Chesapeake Bay. Scheetz was appointed by House Speaker K.
