Dairymen receive certificates at Cooperative meeting BY SALLY BAIR Staff Correspondent BLUE BALL Certificates of merit were awarded to twenty-two area dairymen recognizing their high producing herds at Atlantic Breeder Cooperative’s 20th annual meeting held Thursday in Blue Ball Recognized for their top Dairy Herd Improvement Association averages in District Four were Dale and Steve Hershey, R 3, Manheim, with 21,218 milk and 728 fat; Gerald Martin, Hackman Road, Ephrata, with 19,469 milk and 699 fat; Marvin K. Witmer, Clay Road, Lititz, with 19,521 milk Cooperative's annual meeting Thursday evening at Blue Ball for their high producing herds. They are part of a group of twenty-two Lancaster Countians who will be recognized at a series of district meetings being held this week and next. From left are: Marvin K.
