Junior Dairy Show. This past year he had Honorable Mention Jr. All-Pa. Sr. Yearling and the Junior Champion at the Junior Dairy Show. In addition to his dairy animals, he had grown winter wheat as a project. In his chapter, he has served as assistant treasurer and on many committees, including refresh ments, livestock as chairman, program of work, dairy judging and Greedhand. In 1982, he received the Gold Foundation Award for Dairy Production, a gold medal in the state in two-enterprise and was on the dairy judging team. He is president of the Morrison’s Cove 4-H Dairy Club, is a member of the Blair County Dairy Judging Team and active in the Junior Holstein Association. The son of Donald R. and Marjorie Bowser, R 1 New En terprise, he plans to go into part nership with his brother in Holstein breeding. Member of the East Freedom Church of the Brethern, he lists dairy judging as his chief hobby. HARRY BRUBAKER Harry L. Among his awards have been a third in state land judging, foun dation awards in dairy production. Farm Credit Award for record keeping and a state gold medal for record keeping. In FFA he has also served on the executive and program of work committees and in other school activities participates in the Photography Club, Yearbook, Press Club, Math League and the 4-H Dairy Club. JAMES CLAPPER James Richard Clapper has conducted a variety of projects in his fours years in the Northern Bedford FFA, including dairy cow, oats, corn for silage and grain, hay and rye. Among his many committee assignments have been executive, Greenhand, tractor driving chairman, cleanup chairman and program of work. In other activities he is a member of the Junior Holstein Association and Koontz Church and active in chorus. He is the son of Jesse and Mary Clapper, R 1 New Enterprise and enjoys dairy judging and snowmobiling as hobbies. He plans to continue working on a dairy farm to prepare for his own operation. President of the Northern Bedford FFA is Eric L. Corle, who served the previous year as chapter chaplain. A Chapter Star Greenhand, he has won foundation awards m public speaking and dairy production and a bronze and gold in state project book competition. He has served on the executive committee for two years. His projects are divided between his dairy animals and growing com, alfalfa and oats.
