Kennard-Dale team places 2nd FFA chapters win awards FAWN GROVE - Three members of the Kennard-Dale FFA traveled to Springfield, Mass, on Sept. 16-18 to compete in the Eastern States Exposition judging contests. The team, which consists of members-Jon Hash, Bill Lowe, Scott Dickson, and Coach Ralph Travis, participated in the dairy judging contest. The team placed second against eleven other teams from the 13 Eastern states. For their second place finish, each team member received a silver framed cer tificate. All teams received their awards at a banquet held after the contests were over. After dinner, Mr. Willis Hayes, President of the Eastern States Exposition, spoke to the audience for a few minutes after which Jan Eberly, the National FFA President, gave another one of here enlightening addresses. Awards were then presented and photographs were taken. The closing ceremoney concluded the Eastern States Exposition contests for the FFA members and their coaches.
